Why This Site Exists
chipotle-nutritioncalculator.com started with a simple frustration: figuring out what's in a customized Chipotle order shouldn't require opening the ordering app, half-placing a fake order, or adding up a PDF with a phone calculator. We wanted one fast page where you tap your ingredients and read a real nutrition label. So we built it.
Where the Data Comes From
All nutrition values are drawn from Chipotle Mexican Grill's published nutrition information for standard serving sizes — the same source behind their in-store materials and official online calculator. When Chipotle changes a recipe, retires an item, or launches something new, we update our dataset. Every guide on this site shows a "last updated" date so you know how fresh the numbers are.
What We Are (and Aren't)
We're an independent reference site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in any way — "Chipotle" appears on this site purely to describe the restaurant whose published nutrition data we reference. We're also not doctors or dietitians: the numbers here are accurate to the published data, but they're estimates for hand-scooped food, and nothing on this site is medical or dietary advice.
How We Keep the Tool Honest
- Per-serving math, no rounding tricks. Totals are computed from individual ingredients, not pre-baked "meal" entries.
- Portions are adjustable because real orders aren't standard — half rice and double meat should calculate correctly, and they do.
- No account, no tracking of your food data. Your order lives in your browser tab and disappears when you close it.
Questions, corrections, or a menu change we missed? Get in touch — data corrections get priority. And if you haven't yet, try the calculator — it's the whole reason this site exists.
Our Editorial Standards
Every guide is written from the same verified dataset the calculator runs on, every page carries a last-verified date, and every claim about accuracy comes with its error bar stated plainly. The full detail — sources, verification cadence, corrections policy, and exactly how the calculator does its math — lives on our Data & Methodology page. If we can't trace a number to Chipotle's published data, we don't publish it.
